Money Issues: Should You Check The Akashic Records?

Have you tried EVERYTHING you can think of to solve your money problems, but you’re STILL having difficulties? If you’ve tried everything under the sun, from shadow work to meditation to mantras, but you’re still having trouble attracting (and keeping!) money, it might be time to access the Akashic Records.

What are the Akashic Records, you may be wondering? The Akashic Records are a collection of all human thoughts, words, emotions, and intent ever to have occurred in the past, present, or future. The Records transcend time and space, and can provide us wisdom for why we are making certain decisions, or choices, that keep us stuck and prevent us from living the life we truly desire. If you’re checking all the boxes when it comes to working on your money mindset, but no matter what you do, you simply can’t seem to attract or keep your money, this post is for you. You probably feel confused and frustrated... after all, you’re doing everything you’re ‘supposed to do’ to heal your money issues, right? And either you can’t attract it at all, or you finally get a hold of some money, but then you always find a way to make it disappear into thin air. 

Many of my clients who come to me for Akashic Records work are in vicious money cycles just like that. What happens when you sign up for an Akashic Record Reading is that we actually go into the record to find the root cause. Together, we’re able to identify the deeper root cause that is creating that block and restriction for you around money.

So how are some ways these blocks or restrictions might be showing up for you? Let’s look at the three main ways I see people struggle and why that is.

Sign #1 - You Hold a Belief

If you have a belief, it means that you heard something, bought into it and believed. Somebody said it, or you heard it or read it somewhere and went, “Oh, okay. I'm going to choose to make that true for me.” (subconsciously of course!). You received something into your experience as true. 

A VERY common money belief people hold is, “I have to work hard for money”. 

I held this belief for years. Money always felt heavy and difficult, and I never seemed to have enough of it. I believed if I wasn’t struggling and slaving away for my money, it wasn’t my right to have any. I worked really hard - often 50, 60, 70 hours a week,  in jobs I hated, with people that were terrible to work with. I rarely enjoyed them, and I barely got by. It wasn’t until I started working with the Akashic Records that I was able to CLEAR that belief and start to get money flowing more freely to me.

This belief is often handed down to us because of something we heard from our parents, friends, a teacher, or a message we absorbed through television or books. If you often heard those around you saying things such as “money doesn’t grow on trees” or equating money with long, hard work, you may hold this damaging money belief. We can clear this in your Akashic Records!

Sign #2 - You Hold an Illusion

 

An illusion is something a little different than a belief. While a belief is something we buy into, an illusion is a concept given to us by society. So, an example could be that wealthy people are more important, or more influential. You could be placing wealthy people on a pedestal.

That is a misconception created by society. In a capitalistic society, of course, we are taught that the one with the most money wins. But in reality, that’s an illusion that's created by this society that we work in, that we live in, that we function within, and it has become true for us. 

Illusions show up for us and affect us a little bit differently than beliefs do. In my Akashic Records Readings we discuss how all of these impact you directly in the session, if you have them, because they are going to be different for everyone.

If you believe in the illusion “Rich people are more important”, and you do not consider yourself wealthy or rich, you may be struggling with worthiness issues. This feeling of lack of worthiness may be causing issues in all areas of your life, from your ability to attract money and opportunities, to your romantic relationships, to your overall happiness levels.

Sign #3 - You Took a Vow

Vows differ from beliefs and illusions, so let’s discuss how taking a vow could be showing up for you. A good example of this phenomenon would be taking a Vow of Poverty. 

I know this intimately because I myself went through this.

It goes a little something like this. Let’s say that 14 lifetimes ago, you incarnated as a male, you joined the Church and took vows to God. 

You took a vow of obedience, chastity and poverty. Those are technically three different vows, and they all do something a little different. But today, since we're talking about money, let’s talk about the vow of poverty.

How this tends to show up is you only ever have just enough, or less, when it comes to money. A vow of poverty doesn’t only have to be about money - it can be a poverty of relationships, friendships or support. It can be anything. 

But this vow of poverty around money will literally show up as you only getting just enough to get by, never more, and sometimes even a little less. Or, when you do get money coming in, you can never seem to hold on to it. Say you get $8000, and your $8000 is in the bank, except within a few weeks something happens and it’s simply all gone and you feel like you’re starting from zero all over again.

So, why is it important to know about these original choices? 

In my case, when looking at my vow of poverty, I joined the church. I love God. I wanted to serve. And in order to do that, I took these vows. 

I meant these vows. I believed them wholeheartedly. I dedicated MY LIFE to them.

And I didn't change them before I died.

So when I reincarnated, the vows were still with me - and they still rang true for me, even if my life circumstances were different. 

When you were a part of the Church back then, they provided your food, clothing and shelter. You didn’t get a salary, and you certainly did not have a luxurious room or bed. For the regular priests, you got the bare minimum. A very simple bed, perhaps shared accommodation, a few changes of clothing, and the essentials needed to survive. 

In essence, you barely got by, and I accepted that as what was appropriate for me. 

So then, when I came back into this lifetime, I still believed that on an unconscious level. Even when I would start to make good money, it never felt right. 

I would start panicking. I’d look for ways to give that money away - because if I had money, I felt like maybe I wasn't a good person.

Growing up, I was constantly told you need to always be giving away, always serving, that we must sacrifice ourselves for greater good.

What’s the problem with that? Sacrifice is not abundance. 

You CANNOT create abundance from sacrifice.

And that is where I had this huge disconnect showing up in my own life. 

Taking this vow of poverty in a past lifetime had quite literally separated me from my own abundance.

No matter what money manifestation technique I tried, it wouldn’t work for me, because I had taken this vow that had yet to be cleared. 

So what I actually needed to do was find the vow that was keeping me stuck in misaligned patterns, identify it, accept it, and then clear it. 

Once I realized the vow I’d taken, I acknowledged that while it might have been an appropriate choice for me at that time it's no longer the life that I'm living now.

I'm allowed to make a different choice, and that gives me back my own permission to clear it out in the Akashic Records, in my real life, and then do the work to change my patterns.

We have to remember: What we think influences how we feel, and how we feel influences the everyday decisions we make that create our reality. 

So the very first step to changing our actions and our current reality is weeding out beliefs that no longer serve us, and this is exactly the sort of work I do in my Akashic Records Readings.

There's a myriad of blocks and restrictions that we could create, either in this life or in previous lives that are creating issues around money.

You’ve got to think to yourself, “What are those potential blocks and restrictions that are causing me to have the experience of money issues in this current life? What about my life potentially could be different if I didn't have these blocks and restrictions? And what is it costing me?”

Other than the very real problem of having not enough, money issues ripple into every other area of our life. Maybe you’re fighting with your husband about money and your marriage is suffering. Maybe you’re spending so much of your time and mental energy stressing about money, that you’re neglecting your business or not spending enough time with your children.

These things are not insignificant. These are, quite literally, the issues that keep us up at night.

And it is important for you to decide... are you ready to FINALLY let this go? 

This is the stuff that helps you stay disempowered, that helps you stay in a state of disbelief around your own abundance, or ability to create abundance. This is the kind of thing we can't just get over just by doing a meditation or a mantra, or a vision board.
